Join us for a 1 hour class discussing commonly used woodworking products, learning about their environmental impacts and how to find suitable biodegradable alternatives. Not just for woodworkers!

During this 3 hour workshop artist Michael Douglas Too will introduce you to 4 biodegradable wood finishes: beeswax, shellac, linseed oil and tung oil. Learn how to prepare both the material and the finishes, receive complete guidance on preparation, application and gain hands-on experience with these finishes on their own and combination with each other.

During this free 90 minute class artist Michael Douglas Too will introduce you to common discarded materials in the wood family that are suitable for a variety of creative and functional projects and which materials to avoid.
