Adjustable Wood & Paper Floor Lamp

€800.00

A collaboration of artists Alejandro Seva and Lu Antram and Michael Douglas Too.

Inspired by a vintage floor lamp found at The Peanut Vendor in London, this project began as a quest to find information about the artist behind the lamp and ultimately grew into a playful re-interpretation of the design. This lamp is fully adjustable allowing the user to adjust both the height and the arc of the lamp. The low intensity light creates an intimate, almost haunting ambiance.

Made from oak and repurposed sapele wood sourced from a boatyard in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. Shade is made from repurposed craft paper, stained with turmeric water-color paint and wrapped around a welded metal skeleton; it also features sapele wood accents. Finished with shellac.
