Iroko Scrap Wood Table Lamp

€300.00

A creation of artist Elise Malterre.

This unique table lamp is made almost entirely from iroko scrap wood sourced from a boat yard in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. The regular maintenance of the boats that travel up and down the Douro river leaves piles of leftover cuttings after repairs are made. Elise chose to feature one of these cuttings as the base of her lamp while creating the lamp shade out of other small cuttings that matched the same look and aesthetic as the base. The wood was minimally sanded to retain the texture of the cutting process and finally finished with shellac.

Height: 37 cm
Width: 19 cm
Depth: 20 cm

220V/Type C Plug

*Shipping only available to EU. If you require delivery outside of EU, please contact us for a shipping quote
