Modern, industrial appeal with old school functionality. This minimalist hanging bookshelf was created as an interactive piece that allows for transfer of the removable candle holder between the shelf and the separate Slasher II candle holder. The idea is simple: to both select a book and read by candle light. Made from salvaged black locust wood and steel construction waste from Porto. Both the wood and rusted metal were finished with shellac to seal in their natural beauty.
