This pendant began as a snake found already deceased in the woods of norther Portugal. The vertebrae was carefully extracted from the snake and cleaned in studio, a process totaling over 12 hours. The intact vertebrae was then used as the mold in a zero-petroleum sand casting process. The result is the direct cast, capturing the detail of the original form.
