Peg Lamp - Build-it-Yourself Workshop

During this 4 week hands-on workshop artist Michael Douglas Too will take you through the step-by-step process of building the Peg table lamp. At the end of the workshop you will walk away with your very own Peg lamp (made by you) and a wealth of knowledge on how to create your own furniture pieces using waste and repurposed materials.

In this workshop you will learn…

-to identify, locate and prepare different types of discarded materials for construction
-to use basic tools such as the table saw, miter saw & drill press to prep materials for project
-to sand and finish materials with sustainable, biodegradable stains and finishes
-to assemble all components and construct the lamp
-to complete basic electrical wiring for lamps, including sockets, switches and plugs

Admission cost covers everything including instruction, tools, hardware and electrical supplies.

Workshop Difficulty: Beginner

Number of Spots: 6
